An active life is a key component to health, and the GDB500 series leverages a compact design and Bluetooth® connectivity to create a fashionable series designed around the concept of a small G- SHOCK watch with step counter. Redesigned shock resistant components make the GDB500 series expressly adapted for both work and play. The band connector is a shock-resistant element that receives special attention, and we’ve highlighted this innovation in the shock-resistant dynamic of the band, bezel, and case by texturing the connector with an opaque or translucent style.
As a dual-time watch, the GDB500 series helps you to collaborate with coworkers and colleagues or reconnect with friends and family. FEATURES
Compact rectangular form: Easy to read, easy to wear
This watch features an oblong, angular shape designed not to interfere with the back of the hand and a digital LCD with a three-tiered display layout — all in a lightweight, compact profile suited to everyday use. The band length is adjustable from 145 to 200 mm to comfortably fit even slimmer wrists. The design ensures a nice, snug fit for anyone to wear and enjoy.
New shock-resistant structure for more exterior design possibilities
The watch features a shock-resistant construction combining the bezel, case, and band connectors. Unlike conventional structures, in which the case is covered by the bezel and the band is connected directly, this approach employs each of these parts as structural components while incorporating their shapes and colors into the look of the design, as well. Glass fiber-reinforced resin is used for the case. Two types of band connectors are available: a solid, opaque type with texturing for the GDB500, and a translucent type for the GDB500S.
Everyday functionality tailored to lifestyle needs
A step tracker is included, adding handy functionality for daily life with an accelerometer to count steps. The watch also displays progress you’ve made toward your goal on a graph to support your active lifestyle. In addition, smartphone pairing via Bluetooth® delivers automatic time correction and makes it easy to configure various functions from the app.
