Since our foundation in 1983, we at G-SHOCK have played a significant role in hip-hop culture - for an impressive 40 years. Our brand stands for timeless style and authenticity, with which we have made a name for ourselves in the hip-hop scene.
That's why we keep supporting young talent. And sometimes they actually support us: Liz is a die-hard G-SHOCK fan and is almost never seen without her brightly coloured DW-5610DN. She's not interested in status symbols, she wants her fans to be able to afford what she wears. These are values that G-SHOCK also stands for. That's why we're super happy to have her in our G-Fam.

The Frankfurt native not only impresses with her energetic, aggressive street rap, her slang and her technique in the German rap scene, but also with her blatant story, because that's what makes her so real. LIZ appears on the rap scene during the 2021 coronavirus lockdown with her debut EP "Bleibe Echt". In 2022 she released her album "Mona Liza". Streaming figures skyrocketed and LIZ recorded songs with old heroes such as Schwesta Ewa, Celo & Abdi, Prinz Pi and Ramo and deservedly landed on the splash! mainstage.
Growing up between Frankfurt-Ostend and Offenbach - her father was in prison himself - LIZ slipped into crime at an early age and sold drugs, started burglaries, smoked pot and ended up in a psychiatric ward. At the same time, her mother went blind. Shaped by fate, LIZ showed an incredible fighting spirit and pulled herself out and did her thing, catching up on her A-levels and starting to rap. The young artist processes her experiences and feelings in her music.
