A group of four people wearing black and camouflage-patterned clothing is crouching in front of the tinted Nissan Skyline GT-R

Out of pattern

Camouflage usually means: blending in, seizing the right moment, staying in control. But G-SHOCK turns that principle on its head. Camouflage becomes a statement; visibility becomes a strategy.

Since 1983, our iconic designs have stood for uncompromising durability. Now they meet progressive street style and a minimalist, urban aesthetic.

For G-SHOCK, camouflage is more than just a pattern; it’s an attitude. “Out of Pattern” stands for the deliberate breaking of rules, for moving outside the lines. A mindset that also shapes Japanese drift culture: uncompromising individuality and paint jobs that prefer to provoke rather than blend in.

Adapt?

Never.

Go into hiding?

Only when necessary.

The all-over camouflage pattern covers the case and bracelet without compromise, in earthy shades of gray, green, and beige, or darker tones of gray, brown, and olive. Right in the middle: a hidden “G,” almost invisible, yet always present. This camouflage isn’t meant to disappear. It’s meant to be seen. A play on perception and expectations, without ever losing sight of function.

Made for the urban jungle.

Nissan Skyline GT-R

A vehicle that serves as a visual anchor—one that doesn’t just drive by, but appears like a signal in the rearview mirror: the iconic 2001 Nissan Skyline R34 GTT.

Through the avant-garde fashion brand Ottolinger, this Japanese engineering icon becomes a rolling manifesto. Here, camouflage merges with couture, heritage with rebellion. The design takes the codes of Japanese drift and custom culture, deconstructs them, and translates them into a new form of high fashion on four wheels.

A group of four is sitting in or crouching in front of the Nissan, which is parked in the harbor in front of some containers.
A woman is sitting on the trunk of the camouflage-colored Nissan, which is parked at the container port before sunrise.

Hamburg’s back alleys, flickering neon lights, and a vision from Tokyo: something new is taking shape here. Inspired by the urban jungle, bold lines meet a unique camouflage design. Well-camouflaged, but never invisible-a look that blends in while standing out. Lightweight, modern, and made for the streets.
