A stainless-steel bezel and inner case made with glass fibre-reinforced resin safeguards the module. Inheriting the design concept of the very first G-SHOCK with its iconic octagonal form, the bezel is crafted in a meticulous process of forging, cutting, and polishing. A circular hairline finish applied to the top surface and a mirror polish on the sides give the bezel a beautiful gleam.
High-contrast face for readability and beauty
The dial incorporates a horizontal grid pattern applied with transparent printing, accentuating the dimensionality of the LCD and inset dial. A metallic texture is achieved with vapor deposition, while a phosphorescent finish is applied to the hands and indexes, improving readability in the dark.
Solar-powered timekeeping with Bluetooth® for enhanced accuracy and reliability
The watches come with Smartphone Link and Tough Solar, while still retaining the slim profile for which the 2100 line is known.
