The blue colour accents on the dial and strap pay homage to Japanese culture, where the colour blue has a long tradition. The hue, known as AO-ZUMI, represents the dark blue ink used in traditional Japanese calligraphy. It is said to have a balancing and calming effect on the mind and soul, giving strength and power.

Technologically, the new MRG-B5000BA relies on the most precise timing through radio signal reception and smartphone link. Solar operation, water resistance to 20 bar, world time, a 1/100-second stopwatch and much more are standard features, as are the high-quality sapphire crystal and titanium materials used in its production, which give the watch a special toughness and longevity while simultaneously exuding casual elegance.
