G-SHOCK Restoration Service
G-SHOCK fans have been using their beloved watches for a long time.
To meet the needs of our G-SHOCK fans who would like to restore the original appearance of their watch, we are offering a limited* restoration service to replace the band and bezel of older models exclusively for CASIO ID members.

We will accept applications in the order they are received and stop accepting applications once the limit is reached.
We will send your restored G-SHOCK back, in a special package with a message from Kikuo Ibe, the creator of G-SHOCK.
*There is a limited number of watch restorations.
How does it work?
Which G-SHOCK models can be restored?
The first generation of G-SHOCK models "DW-5000C" and a series of 6 more "ORIGIN" watches: The DW-5200, the DW-5600C, DW-5800C, DW-1983-1 as well as the WW-5100C and the WW-5300C watch.
What is the time frame for applying for the restoration service?
To celebrate the birthday of G-SHOCK, the service will launch on 12 Apriland will be closed once the maximum number of registrations has been reached.
What service is included in the restoration?
The watch worshop will take care of the following services:
- Bezel replacement including Bezel screws¹
- Band replacement including Spring bars²
- Battery replacement
- O-ring replacement (gasket)
- Waterproof test (3 Bar)³
How much will this service cost?
Service Fee: 100,00 €
If no restoration service is possible, we reserve the right to charge for the shipping costs incurred. Please confirm details on the application form. The electronic components of the watch cannot be repaired or restored.

The restoration process
Step 1：New battery replacement
Step 2：Installation of new gasket
Step 3：Re-install back cover
Step 4：Installation of new resin bezel
Step 5：Installation of new bezel screws
Step 6：Installation of new resin bands including band loop
The restored watch is returned in a special package.

¹ Regardless of the original colour, we only offer black bezels. All bezel screws are replaced with crosshead screws.
The restoration service does not include the following: Protector (DW-5800) and/or metal loop (DW-1983).
² Regardless of the original colour, we can only offer black bands. The colour of the buckle is chosen to match the original model.
³ Due to the age of the watches and the potential for material changes associated with this, we only perform water resistance tests up to 3 bar.
