Automatically on time
All radio-controlled G-SHOCK watches contain a tiny antenna that enables precise timekeeping through the reception of radio signals. The advantages of radio-controlled watches are obvious: Once set to the corresponding time zone, G-SHOCK watches always display the exact local time. They receive radio signals throughout almost all of Europe — and in the case of many models also in North America, parts of Canada and Mexico, as well as Japan and China.

Indoor or outdoor radio wave reception
- Compatible with standard time radio wave transmissions in Japan (2 stations), North America, UK, Germany and China.
- Keeps the correct time at night with automatic reception (up to 6 times).
- In Europe, the change from summer to winter time is also completely automatic.
- Enables reception with lower power consumption.
Shock-resistant miniature antenna
A tiny shock-resistant antenna constructed of an amorphous material achieves high-sensitivity reception of standard time radio waves carrying time information.
Reliability that enables stable radio wave reception from any of 6 stations worldwide is realised simultaneously with the robustness required to handle rough treatment under the most rugged conditions.
