International pro surfer Kanoa Igarashi’s fourth signature model
Introducing the fourth signature model from pro surfer Kanoa Igarashi, who is a mainstay in the World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour, the world’s ultimate pro-surfing series. Based on the G-LIDE GBX-H5600 with heart rate monitor, this signature watch boasts a mixed-color bio-based resin bezel and band inspired by cliffs in Portugal, one of the surfer’s home and training bases — plus a special design adorned in places with Igarashi’s signature.
LINEUP
Kanoa Igarashi
Influenced by his parents, Igarashi began surfing at the age of three in his hometown of Huntington Beach, California. Including his junior career, Igarashi went on to set a series of remarkable records across the United States. In 2016, he qualified for the world’s premier professional surfing circuit, the WSL Championship Tour (CT), becoming the youngest surfer in history to compete at that level. In 2019, at the third event of the CT season, he claimed his first career victory — also marking the first-ever CT win by an Asian surfer.
In 2021, Igarashi represented Japan in the surfing competition at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, the first year the sport was featured as an official event, and won the silver medal. At the 2022 ISA World Surfing Games, Igarashi won a perfect first place in all eight of the heats to capture his long-sought World Champion title.
In the 2025 CT season, Igarashi reinforced his status as one of the world’s elite surfers with a 7th-place finish in the WSL world rankings. With his sights set on the CT World Title, he continues to sharpen his performance as he prepares for the upcoming Olympic Games in Los Angeles, his hometown.

Color scheme inspired by Portuguese sea cliffs
Mixed-color molding in brown tones expresses landscapes from Portugal — one of Igarashi’s home and training bases — such as the cliffs and rocky shores surrounding the renowned surf destination of Ericeira. Combined with a tide graph depicting ocean waves, this achieves a design befitting a G-LIDE. An accent color of purple evokes the “magic hours” of early morning and twilight when the sky appears to be painted colorfully.
Design details imbued with Igarashi’s individual identity
Igarashi’s signature is incorporated into the design on the watch face and case back, and Igarashi’s surfer number, 50, adorns the band — special design features for a collaboration model emphasizing the connection between surfers and G-SHOCK.
Diverse functions to support athletic use
Based on the GBX-H5600, the watch is equipped with a heart rate monitor and accelerometer to provide measurement functions that support four different activities, along with a tide graph, moon data, and more. The MIP LCD provides high-definition display of diverse measurement data. Training and sleep analysis powered by Polar’s algorithms is included as well. A watch equipped to support intense use day after day.
Smartphone Link
Smartphone pairing via Bluetooth® delivers automatic time correction and makes it easy to configure tide graph settings from the app. Tracked data can also be sent to a paired smartphone and checked in training logs and life logs. Detailed training and sleep analysis data and more can be reviewed as well.
Bio-based resin
Key resin components used in the bezel, case, and band are made with bio-based resin, a material expected to help reduce environmental impact.
