Stainless steel bezel: Refined craftsmanship highlighting the aesthetics of practical elegance
As a defining element of the toughness-oriented design, the bezel conveys a strong presence. Made with stainless steel, its complex form of multiple surfaces and contours is shaped through forging. The top surface, beveled edges, and sides are each finished with different polishing techniques.
The GG-B100XM employs a silver-colored bezel with a honed matte finish that enhances resistance to mud and dust while reducing light reflection, giving it a calm, subdued texture. The GG-B100XMB features a black ion-plated bezel with mirror polishing, combining high scratch resistance with a refined metallic sheen.
Shock-, dust-, and mud-resistant structure delivered by carbon fiber-reinforced resin
Offering high strength and excellent weather resistance, the carbon fiber-reinforced resin case protects the module. Gaskets are applied around the buttons to ensure a tight seal, providing reliable dust and mud resistance even in harsh environments. Carbon fiber-reinforced resin is also used for the cover enclosing the case back and for the movable parts on the underside of the band, enhancing both durability and wearing comfort.

Quad Sensor supporting land missions
In addition to the triple sensor that measures compass bearing, altitude/barometric pressure, and temperature, the watch is equipped with an accelerometer for step counting. By collecting diverse data, the Quad Sensor makes it easy to monitor environmental changes and track activity history, helping ensure reliable performance in land missions under the toughest conditions.

Smartphone Link
The watch connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth® to automatically adjust the time. Using the dedicated app, various watch settings and mission logs can be managed with ease.

- Mission Log: The altitude measured by the watch and the course obtained from a smartphone’s GPS are automatically recorded by the app. An altitude point can be plotted on the map.
- Location Indicator: Pressing a button on the watch records the current location on a map within the app. The seconds hand shows the bearing, and the LCD displays the distance to the recorded location.
- Mode customization: The watch modes can be turned on and off on the app and can be rearranged in preferred order according to need or situation.
- Automatic altitude adjustment: Altitude measurement values on the watch are automatically adjusted based on altitude data acquired from the smartphone GPS.*
- Calories burned: The app calculates calories burned based on altitude and step count measurements, taking elevation changes into account. The data is recorded as part of the activity log.
