Discover the Spring 2021 Collection which includes the MR-G Hana-Basara, MT-G Blue Phoenix with a rainbow IP, the multi-coloured GMW-B5000TR and the Hidden Coast Series that evokes fun summertime memories.

Utilizing leading-edge technology and the CMF (“Colour”, “Material” and “Finish”) design concept - pursuing new value in watches with original concepts of design, distinctive colours, materials, and finishes were employed to deliver creative designs and styles.

Colour

Dark Green DLC Coating

A deep shade of green appearing on the surface of heated iron. A diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating reproduces the traditional Japanese hue, kurogane-iro (literally "iron colour").

Rainbow IP

A mystical range of hues with a base tone of blue evokes the sacred, mythical Blue Pheonix.

Multicolour IP

A special ion plating (IP) process applied to titanium gives components individual colouration in five different hues.

Multicolour Vapour Deposition

A newly developed vapour deposition process applied to dial design achieves highly chromogenic colouration and facilitates solar power generation.

Translucent Navy Blue

Translucent resin in a navy-blue shade used for the band achieves a look that harmonises well with the colour of the case.

Material

COBARION

COBARION, an alloy developed in Japan, is used for the bezel. It features a hardness about four times that of pure titanium and a brilliant gleam comparable to platinum.

Titanium, offering excellent strength and processibility, is used for the case and band to enable precision machining of complex forms.

Finish

Facet Cutting

A multifaceted cutting technique used in jewellery processing is applied to the bezel by a cutting/polishing artisan.

Titanium Mirror Surface Polishing

Polished surfaces with a high degree of smoothness comparable to stainless steel are achieved by using super-hard titanium alloys.

Sallaz Polishing

Beautiful mirror surfaces on parts of the case are created with Sallaz polishing, considered the ultimate in polishing technology.
