A commemorative G-SHOCK Iconic Style with striking blue accents in a full-metal design
Introducing a watch commemorating 50 years of Casio watches with a design based on the GMW-B5000, a model which reproduced the iconic form of the first-ever G-SHOCK, but with a full-metal exterior. Design features including blue and gold accent colours and fluted design pay homage to the original Casiotron and give the watch a fittingly special look evoking the sky and sea.

Full-metal design accented with blue and gold
The dial’s perimeter is adorned with the iconic fluted pattern of the original Casiotron and given a beautiful gleam with gold vapour deposition. Combined with the blue IP finish applied to the bezel top, the design gives the watch a striking sense of presence. Gold IP is applied to the side buttons as well, for an extra-special touch.
Screw-lock case back engraved with 50th anniversary logo
The case back features a robust, stainless-steel screw-lock construction that ensures a tight seal. A diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating is applied to the metal to provide improved abrasion resistance, and a 50th anniversary logo is engraved in the case back.

Metal band with bicolor finish
A gold-and-silver bicolor finish is given to the tri-fold clasp as a special design feature. The folded section, revealed when opening or closing the clasp, is engraved with a triangle pattern and “50th Anniversary” lettering.

Expressing truth to origin and constant innovation: Full-metal shock-resistant structure
Buffering components made of fine resin are installed between the stainless-steel bezel and case, achieving the shock-resistant structure of the very first G-SHOCK, but in a timepiece with a metal exterior. Also, a three-pronged structure is employed for the connective part of the band to disperse shocks to the connecting pipes.

Forged bezel and case: Crafted with a passion for refinement down to the finest details
The bezel and case undergo meticulous processes of forging, cutting, and polishing, precisely crafting them into robust, powerful forms. A hairline finish is applied to the bezel top and a mirror finish to the bevelled edges to maximise the textural appeal of the metal.
