RICH BRIAN COLLABORATION
Published on 4 December 2023
NOSTALGIA IS BUILT ON THE BACK OF TIME
Nostalgia is built on the back of time. For Brian, this project was a sentimental translation of the feeling he embodied as a young boy when he laid eyes on the first guitar back home, in Indonesia. He recalls the bright seafoam green body was alluring and that it paired unapologetically well with the pink.
The black and white exterior packaging represents his candid nature of communication over music, very “black and white.” To the purchaser, it’s meant to build anticipation like a Christmas gift.
What you see is never what you get with Brian.
As this fond memory translates to the watch, it serves as a reminder of where he came from and the amount of time it took to arrive.

ABOUT RICH BRIAN
Growing up homeschooled in Indonesia, Rich Brian found the Internet to be his English teacher and window to the world beyond. After moving to America alone at the age of 17, Brian has been both awed and humbled by his experiences, as they simultaneously smack him down to Earth and lift him up. Brian’s debut project Amen, released in February 2018, garnered widespread critical acclaim and topped the iTunes Hip-Hop charts, a first in history for an Asian musician. 2021 proved to be a triumphant year for Brian as he reached new heights in his career.
Brian notched his first-ever U.S. Top 40 radio hit for "edamame" with bbno$. He also played a prominent role in Marvel Studios' Shang-Chi & The Legend of the Ten Rings soundtrack – including collaborations with 21 Savage, Rick Ross, and DJ Snake. Brian has since gone on to sell out shows across North America, Europe and Asia, and festivals around the world including Bonnaroo and Rolling Loud, and made history as one of the first Indonesian artists to play a solo headline set at Coachella in April 2022.
Brian also made history by becoming the first Indonesian artist to attract 10 million monthly listeners on Spotify. The multi-hyphenate made his film debut in the Justin Chon-directed feature Jamojaya that premiered at Sundance in January 2023 and is currently working on his next artist project.
