Casio Singapore has officially announced another stunning collaboration model with the fashion brand, Against Lab. This is the second time Casio will collaborate with Against Lab in launching a limited-edition G-SHOCK DW-5600AL24 in Southeast Asia - Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines.

Founded in the 80s, the DW-5600 model inherits the DNA of the very first G-SHOCK, which square design symbolises the origin of G-SHOCK, through tireless efforts and continuous innovation. This is the quintessential G-SHOCK, born from a developer’s belief that he could create a watch that would not break even if dropped. In terms of specifications, it is definitely shock-resistant, has a 200-metre water resistance, and has a backlight ability to display text or feature, allowing for better visibility in the dark.

This special collaboration model takes inspiration from The Universal Language that connects us all - music. Taking us back to the days of the era of cassettes (1970s - 1990s), cassettes were the medium choice for listening to music for many people, and thus played a significant role in shaping the music scene at that time.

Despite the changing times, cassettes still hold a special place in the hearts of many music lovers, as they represent a time when music was more than just a commodity; it was a way of life.

Drawing inspiration from AGAINST’s deep influence from the Hip-Hop genre, and the Casio G-SHOCK DW-5600 mode boasting a strong retro aesthetic that pairs well with the cassette tape's appearance, together other similar elements, comes forth a special new collaboration model that connects us all - the AGAINST X G-SHOCK DW-5600 “The Universal Language” watch.
