G-SHOCK and pro surfer Kanoa Igarashi have jointly launched a new design variant of the G-LIDE as a limited edition.
Cool surf look with maximum functionality and performance
The watch is based on the G-LIDE GLX-5600, which is equipped with a tide indicator, making it an indispensable piece of equipment for surfers. The flat, angular shape of the watch ensures that the watch does not interfere with the wrist while surfing. The semi-transparent case, intended to be reminiscent of the sea, and the polished dial give off a simple yet cool look. Another design detail is the engraving of Igarashi's "Kanoa" signature on the dial, the back of the case, and on the clasp, which is illuminated when the backlight is activated.

At the age of just 21, the Californian has now been on the pro surf scene for over a decade. At just 11 years of age, he set the record for the most competition wins in a single season. Since then, he has won several major surfing competitions and is now at the top of the World Surf League Championship Tour.
