G-SHOCK introduces a pair of metal-clad watches designed under the concepts of Mars and Venus. Drawing inspiration from the ancient mythology god, Mars, the G-STEEL model from this series is has a bronze finishing while the G-MS model is inspired by Venus, adopts a gold finishing for the watch case. Both models have dark brown bands to encapsulates the romantic symbolism of this series.

Mars is an ancient god that symbolises men, while Venus is an ancient goddess of beauty that symbolises women. These two gods are often referred to as “Stars of Love”.
