In Pulse, the mechanical precision of watchmaking is reimagined as anatomy. The watch's intricate machinery is reborn as a chrome heart which beats alongside the G-SHOCK watch. The artwork envisions innovation as a living force, where shifting gears and clock ticks transform into a pulse. With each oscillation being a reminder of connection, vitality, and the harmony between human and machine.

Who Eats Art
Inspired by the durability and performance-tracking of the watch, this edible installation translates human interaction into both physical and digital data. Each cookie acts as a unit of activity — sprayed, consumed, and imprinted onto the canvas to form a collective record of movement and impact. The resulting work exists as both visual artefact and connected system, where participation is transformed into a lasting, trackable imprint. TapTech powered by DEPARTMNT
Dyeing Dreams
Ethan
This installation revolves around the experimentation of rust and synthetic dyes on a draping piece of cotton fabric. Mild steel letters were rusted and used as stencils to form the text, while synthetic dyes were used to create a dreamlike background. While the flowing dyes evoke the intangible nature of dreams, the presence of rusted metal introduces a sense of endurance and resilience. The work invites viewers to not just dream, but to pursue their ambitions with persistence even in moments of uncertainty and darkness.
BLACK PALMS
Fawn World
Capturing the exact moment that palm trees are caught in a strong tropical storm, BLACK PALMS showcases the toughness and flexibility of our coastal trees. Coconut fronds are covered in black paint and a rubberised coating, pushing them into a blackness that’s evocative of a shadow or silhouette. The large leaves are bent and twisted, frozen in perpetual movement- evoking the momentum and movement of a runner in the wind.

Toughness and resilience are embedded in the DNA of G-SHOCK and Graffiti. These paintings are grounded in the moment of impact, where forms collide against a surface shaped by time, pressure, and movement. It is the split second where destruction and durability converge—where rupture occurs, yet failure is resisted

This is our kind of “race.” Running is always better together, and this time, we came for the miles but stayed for the smiles.
