G-SHOCK Full Metal:
Combining Toughness of Spirit with the Wonders of Technology
The very first G-SHOCK made a powerful impression, staking a global claim as the brand of absolute toughness. With a form born of a single-minded commitment to shock resistance, it endures yet today as an eternal standard.
That same heritage runs through G-SHOCK Full Metal design, which combines toughness of spirit with the wonders of technology. Original Casio manufacturing processes and cutting-edge technologies are applied to stainless steel and titanium materials, ensuring shock resistance in simple, elegant designs boasting both strength and beauty.
Truth to origin and constant innovation. All for those who appreciate totally unique toughness-oriented watch design. The G-SHOCK Full Metal line stands as a testament to the proud G-SHOCK quest for advancement and untiring innovation.

Advent of the Full Metal line: Ushering in a new era of G-SHOCK development
The GMW-B5000 debuted in 2018, achieving the design of the very first G-SHOCK in full metal form to usher in a new era of G-SHOCK development.
The G-SHOCK Full Metal line features designs based on the iconic 5000 and 2100 styles. Heir to the spirit of the very first G-SHOCK, the lineup incorporates new shock-resistant structures with both toughness and practicality.
Each individual timepiece is painstakingly assembled and finished by hand, reflecting the committed spirit of precision watch production unique to Yamagata Casio, the “mother factory” of G-SHOCK.

Innovation in Design: Taking Shock Resistance to the Limit and Beyond
Ever since the establishment of the brand, G-SHOCK design has been defined by a passion for construction, functionality, and materials, along with a commitment to taking toughness to the limits, and beyond. Innovative technologies and materials have been incorporated into manufacturing processes, as well, guided by revolutionary concepts not seen anywhere else in the timepiece industry.
The original shock-resistant structure, born from a vision of constructing a watch that wouldn’t break even if dropped, is a true example of this. For the G-SHOCK Full Metal line, sophisticated technical approaches and discerning design sensibilities fostered over many years are integrated to develop a new, original shock-resistant construction optimized for metal materials, challenging the limits of shock-resistant performance.

Original Manufacturing Technologies: Achieving Iconic G-SHOCK Design in Full Metal Form
The defining feature of the G-SHOCK Full Metal line is its achievement of the iconic resin case design of the first-ever G-SHOCK, but now with metal materials. The original design, developed to deliver optimal shock resistance, is faithfully reproduced to the greatest degree possible. Proprietary Casio manufacturing technologies developed over the years since the G-SHOCK debut are leveraged to achieve the emblematic form, which delivered shock resistance with an astonishing level of toughness true to the brand, but with metal materials.
All assembly and inspection of G-SHOCK Full Metal timepieces is carried out at Yamagata Casio, the “mother factory” of G-SHOCK. Meticulous handcrafting processes are employed still today to create watches with toughness and beauty befitting the “Made in Japan” label.
