G-SHOCK watches has been testing the limits of toughness since 1983, and this year - in collaboration with Tomoyasu Hotei, an innovative Japanese guitarist, a new special model will be launched.

With the base model of GA-2100, a thin octagon bezel,  motifs of guitar rhythms are printed throughout the band and bezel of this watch. The back cover features a GUITARHYTHM mark, and the buckle has a black ion-plated (IP) finish. A special package also decorated with the GUITARHYTHM pattern identifies this model as one that embodies Tomoyasu Hotei's worldview. This new model is a special collaboration between Tomoyasu Hotei who continues to be a force in rock music in Japan and around the world, and G-SHOCK, the popular choice of timepiece over the world.

Hotei is highly regarded for his talent as a producer, lyricist and composer. He gained international acclaim as the composer of "Battle Without Honor Or Humanity," the theme song of Quentin Tarantino's "Kill Bill." In 2012, Hotei moved to England and performed four successful shows in London.
