NINJA SERIES

Multi-angle printed graphics create an image of running through the streets like a gust of wind.

A navy blue semi-transparent band creates an underwater image, and a hot-stamped lattice pattern is reminiscent of chain mail.

A gray, smoke-like semi-transparent band and bezel are hot-stamped with a lattice pattern that resembles chain mail.

Since its original release in 1983, G-SHOCK has continued to evolve and push the limits of timekeeping toughness. These new models carry on that tradition with designs in the image of the mysterious ninja, specially trained medieval martial artists who are said to have served powerful Japanese shoguns and feudal lords of the past.

These new models represent the unmatched physical toughness and indomitable spirit that are very much a part of the ninja and the G-SHOCK cultures. Base models are the DW-6900, with its iconic front button and three digital dials, the standard digital DW-5600, and the octagon case GA-2100. Each of these new models incorporates ninjutsu (ninja martial art) design elements: ninja bashiri (ninja running) for the DW-6900NNJ, suiton no jutsu (water-escape technique) for the DW-5600NNJ, and katon no jutsu (fireball technique) for the GA-2100NNJ. In addition, the shapes of ninja projectiles and throwing stars are used for various design elements of the dial, backlight, band loop, and back cover.

All of these models are made in Japan in honor of the Japanese ninja, and all come in specially designed packaging.

Available online & in-stores from 13 December 2023 for all CASIO ID Members!

Ninja Bashiri (Ninja Running)
Ninja bashiri is a technique that allowed ninja to run without side movement of the body. The minimized body movement is said to make it possible for ninja to run long distances.

Suiton no Jutsu (Water-escape Technique)
Suiton no jutsu is the art of hiding in ponds, rivers, moats, and other bodies of water for escape or infiltration. The basic suiton no jutsu method is to hold a bamboo snorkel in one’s mouth. However, one theory says it was possible to dive deeper by using a ninja sword sheath with its tip removed to breathe.

Katon no Jutsu (Fireball Technique)
Katon no jutsu is one of the tonjutsu (hiding or escape techniques) that ninja employ to hide themselves or distract their opponents using fire, gunpowder, and fire wheels.
