G-SHOCK and contemporary artist Jahan Loh unveils a brand new limited-edition collaboration model, the DW-5600JAH24-4, exclusively available in Southeast Asia, Taiwan and China.
ABOUT THE WATCH
The watch boasts a bold red base, and the words ‘Dragon Disruptive Pattern’ with special drawings on the face of the watch. Distinctive design accents decorate the watch strap, inspired from elements of Jahan’s personal stories. These design accents draw inspiration from the dragon, his birth year and a unique interweaving pattern that reflects his thoughts on his journey through time, cascading back and forth between a futuristic vision and connection to the past. Final touches include Jahan’s signature logo engraved into the caseback, and the distinctive patterns on the special packaging, making it a coherent theme throughout.
SPECIAL SPACEMAN THEMED PACKAGING
Jahan has also created a special spaceman-themed packaging to commemorate this collaboration in the same bold red and distinct spaceman avatar, embodying his extraordinary vision. Fans in Singapore will be able to purchase the special collaboration watch and the special packaging as an exclusive bundle set while stocks last.
ANIMATION
The animation explores the relentless advancement of technology. Despite the rise of artificial intelligence, the human spirit and wisdom can outmaneuver AI’s algorithms with sudden, unexpected moves. ABOUT THE ARTIST
Jahan Loh is a multi-disciplinary artist known for merging graffiti wildstyle with Chinese script. He is one of the pioneers of Chinese street art who brought the genre to galleries in Singapore and China. His works reveal a deep fascination for his cultural history and the unknown, at times exploiting the subjective nature of storytelling to present his own visions of the past and future.
