The innovative structural beauty of MT-G watches is achieved by combining metal and G-SHOCK resin in unique designs. The latest additions to the MT-G lineup are the new MTG-B3000 models. Their dual-core guard structure protects the module with a carbon-reinforced resin case and encases the outside of the watch with metal parts. The stainless steel back covers of the MTG-B3000 models are pressed, cut, and polished into a complex three-dimensional configuration.

A new structure and design make it possible for the lugs that secure the bands, the crown guard, and the button guards to be incorporated into the back cover. This new type of back cover makes it possible to reduce the overall size and thickness of the watch. A new type of thin multi-function module uses high-density mounting technology, which makes it possible to reduce the case thickness to 12.1 mm (back cover to bezel).

A new one-push band release mechanism lets you release the band by pressing the two lug buttons on either side. This means bands can be attached and detached quickly and easily without tools. MTG-B3000D model comes with a composite layer band of stainless steel and fine resin for reduced weight. The bezels of these new MTG-B3000 models are created by applying a black IP coating to the stainless steel of the bezel. Then the raised surfaces of the bezel are brought to a hairline finish that exposes the stainless steel for deep black bezel lettering. These watches also feature high-transparency sapphire crystals and highly textured faces created by delicate molding and vapor deposition processing made possible by the microfabrication the technology of the CASIO Yamagata Factory.

In terms of functionality, the watch uses Bluetooth® to connect with the CASIO WATCHES app running on your smartphone to acquire time information. Other practical features include MULTIBAND 6, Tough Solar, and high-brightness LED light illumination.
