Step tracker: Solar-powered operation for hassle-free use
The GA-B010 features a newly developed module incorporating a custom-designed LSI and proprietary algorithm to reduce power consumption. Compared with the previous model,* the step-tracking function consumes about 40% less power. This makes the GA-B010 solar-power-only watch to count and digitally display steps. It counts steps automatically when you start walking. The LCD displays total daily steps, and a circular indicator shows progress toward goals. When it senses you haven’t walked for a set period of time, it alerts you with a message and a tone. Tracked data can also be sent to a paired smartphone for management in life logs using the app.

Exuding solidity, the case features a multifaceted form and an iconic front button delivering a combination of practical functionality and design sensibility. Adorn your wrist with the striking sense of presence of toughness-driven G-SHOCK design. Employing the Carbon Core Guard structure that protects the module with a carbon fiber-reinforced resin case, the watch delivers the strength to withstand hard use, together with a lightweight and compact size for a comfortable fit on the wrist.
Wide-face design offering functional beauty
The analog-digital combination dial displays the time and various measurements. Special design features create enhanced textural appeal, including a sun-ray finish on the dial, vapor deposition applied to the bezel ring, and a metallic finish applied to the inset dial. The glass is attached with adhesive, which allows for a wide-face design while still ensuring a comfortable size for the wrist. Phosphorescent finish is applied to the watch hands and hour markers, ensuring visibility in the dark as well.

Key resin components used in the bezel, case, and band are made with bio-based resin, a material expected to help reduce environmental impact.
